Language drips dry. I hear words of old Bathed in their luxuriant splendor Rich in hue, heavy in tone.
Bald and Sparse, is now. One note, one count, A cracked bone in the desert.
In days of old It was all sparkled gilt and gold, Silk burgundy, royal velvet Prose drunk with description Poetry saturated with emotion.
Now description squeaks With iron stained words, And passion rusts in this...
The sun over the sky
Whispers to the wind,
“Be gentle, be bold -
Wrap your coolness
Around the globe,
And I’ll blanket my warmth -
Together we are harmony,
Unified in the picture of peace.
The world will take our example
Soaring forward
Striving in the the chaos of committee -
Soon they will find their symbiosis
And cement it in stone -
Your winds will just be breezes in time,

Beauty flowed in the night With butterfly thoughts I wrote my words of gold. While the bird chirped in the dark out your window. Wrapped tightly in your arms my mind wove the art. You breathed the meter of my masterpiece. I did not write of your love but in the glow of it I became the poet.
